Daisy Laing Gallery Penzance has begun an exciting year long studio residency at the fabulous Ocean Studios in the heart of Royal William Yard, Plymouth. The plan is to give some of the artists, who regularly show with us in the Penzance gallery, the opportunity to have a month long studio residency at our studio at Royal William Yard, Plymouth. This will expose our exciting Penwith based artists to a whole new audience and provide stimulation and inspiration for the practice. There is the option for artists to deliver workshops based around their practice at the studio and also have an exhibition in the wonderful gallery space in the Column Bakehouse cafe on the ground floor.

First resident has been Tim Ridley who's spent the last month exploring the tidal estuary of the Hamoaze, and exploring and curating his finds in the studio. This practice has culminated in a show 'Bowerbird'. In the the Column Bakehouse Gallery.
